Dendrite Opal Pendant is a completely natural large dendritic opal. Set in sterling silver the unusually delicate dendrites seem to grow within the stone creating a eye catching pendant.
This opal variety is termed dendritic opal due to its internal collection of dendrites. Dendrites are fern-like inclusions of iron, manganese, or other metallic oxides that create plant likepatterns within the gem. Typically these opals are white, yellow, blue, green or pink and show the black inclusions well.
